The F430 Challenge is a non-road legal variant of the road-going Ferrari F430, it has been extensively modified by Ferrari to boost its on circuit performance with extensive weight reduction and suspension changes. Just like in previous Ferrari Challenge cars the engine has largely remained the same as on the production road cars except for some enhanced breathing by means of a racing exhaust system and some engine management tweaks and fine blueprinting. Furthermore the body styling has received very few styling changes with the Formula One inspired single central nut (slick shod) BBS wheels hiding enormous carbon brakes.
This vibrant 2008 Ferrari F430 Challenge has been owned by the same gentleman driver since 2010. This vehicle which has been serviced andmaintained by ANSA Motorsports still keeps the Carbon Ceramic brakes, which perform better and reduce unstrung weight. In many cases, these cars are converted to steel brakes in order to gain some economy in the operation, but the owner and driver of this car has not spared on costs to keep it competitive and in great shape. After purchasing in 2010, this vehicle was fitted with an Aeromotion front bumper, splitter and rear wing. These enhancements dramatically increased the down force and handling of the car, making it very competitive at the track. The suspension elements have been kept to factory Challenge specifications in order to accommodate entering in diverse racing events and fit the regulations. Since 2010 the car has participated in no more than eight sprint races where it performed flawlessly. This 2008 Ferrari F430 Challenge performed extremely well and had podium finishes at Sebring with SVRA, Daytona with CCR and at the Miami 500.The car is supplied with all the mentioned upgrades and an extra set of wheels, and it is track ready immediately.
